The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where families farm wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range lies to the south. Talagang is about 17 km away in a straight line, while Chakwal city, the Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 38 km away.
