Dhok Chandi is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab. It is also known as Lund Miara, Lund Miāra and Lunda Dhok. In a straight line it lies about 20 km from Talagang, 40 km from Chakwal city and 42 km from the Kallar Kahar lake.
It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full history and customs of Dhok Chandi have not yet been written down in detail. Its own people are the best keepers of that story, and this page is an open invitation to share it.
