Lawa is about 32 km away and Talagang about 43 km. The Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 48 km away in a straight line.
Across this plateau, people farm rain-fed land, growing wheat and groundnut, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. Dharopha's own story, its families and its days, is still to be told, and the people of the village are the ones to tell it.
