This is Dhok Alam Sher.

Dhok Alam Sher is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where families grow wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range rising to the south.

In a straight line, Dhudial is about 33 km away, Choa Saidan Shah 40 km, the Malot temple 41 km and Chakwal city 42 km. Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.

The full story of Dhok Alam Sher, and of the people who have made it home, is still to be told, and it is for its own people to tell it.
