This is Dhok Bakhsh.
Dhok Bakhsh is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines, farming depends on rain, and the Salt Range rises to the south.
In a straight line, the village is about 14 km from Islamabad airport, 16 km from Rawalpindi, 56 km from Dhudial and 61 km from Chakwal city. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The village's own history, its people and its everyday life are still to be told. This page is a place for those who live here, and those who left, to tell them in their own words.
