Kalas, also spelt Kalis, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Across this plateau, farming families grow wheat and groundnut, and many households have members serving in the army or working abroad.
In a straight line, Kalas is about 13 km from Islamabad airport, 15 km from Rawalpindi, 58 km from Dhudial and 62 km from Chakwal city.
