In a straight line, Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 25 km away, Talagang is about 33 km, and the Katas Raj temples are about 44 km. Across this plateau, wheat and groundnut are the familiar crops, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
