This is Dhok Hashau.
Dhok Hashau is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south.
In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 24 km away, Islamabad airport 33 km, Dhudial 52 km and Chakwal city 59 km. Farming across the plateau centres on wheat and groundnuts, and many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of this village and its people is still to be told, and it is for those who know it best to tell it.
