This is Kalri.
Kalri, also spelt Kalari, is a village in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 25 km away, Islamabad airport 33 km, Dhudial 51 km, and Chakwal city 58 km.
Across the Potohar plateau, families grow wheat and groundnut on rain-fed land, and many have members serving in the army or working abroad. For those who live far from home, this village is still close to the heart.
The village's own story is still to be told by its people. If you were born here, grew up here, or have family here, please add what you remember.

Written from the district record. Kalri's own story, its families, its elders, its ground, is still to be told. The village captain or team can add it from their phone.
