Dhok Jaba (also spelt Dhok Jabah) is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the dry, ravined land of the Potohar plateau, where farming depends on rain and the fields grow wheat and groundnut.
The Salt Range rises to the south. In a straight line, the village is about 20 km from Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, about 35 km from the Katas Raj temples, and about 36 km from Dandot in the Salt Range.
Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own history, its families and its memories are still to be told, and this page is a place for its people to tell them.
