This is Dhok Jandial.
Dhok Jandial, also spelt Jandial Dhok or Jandiāl Dhok, is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 40 km from Talagang, 64 km from Lawa, 68 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, and 69 km from Chakwal city.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of this village, its people and its daily life is still to be told by those who live here and whose families carry it across the world.
