This is Dhok Khalas.
Dhok Khalas is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a region of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
In straight-line distance, Talagang is about 24 km away, Lawa about 48 km, the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway about 54 km, and the Kallar Kahar lake about 55 km.
Like many families in this part of the district, households here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Khalas is still to be told, and it belongs to the people who live here and the families who carry its name overseas.
