Dhok Nakka is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. In a straight line, Chakwal city and Dhudial are each about 23 km away, the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange about 40 km, and Kallar Kahar lake about 41 km.
Across this plateau, families farm wheat and groundnut, and many have members serving in the army or working abroad. The story of Dhok Nakka itself, its families and its days, is still to be told, and its people are the ones to tell it.
