Mangwal is a village in Tehsil Chakwal, District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. It gives its name to the Mangwal Union Council. Chakwal city is about 20 km away in a straight line, Dhudial is 19 km away, and the Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar are each 38 km away.

The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land cut by ravines, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming here is rain-fed, and wheat and groundnut are the main crops. Most of the population belongs to the Jatt Dhamyal, Jatt Makin, Kassar and Mughal biradris. Many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
