This is Dhok Wasawala.
Dhok Wasawala is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines, and farming depends on rain. The Salt Range rises to the south.
Straight-line distances from the village are about 6 km to Dandot in the Salt Range, 10 km to the Malot temple, 13 km to Choa Saidan Shah, and 14 km to the Katas Raj temples.
Many families across this plateau have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Wasawala, its families and its fields is still to be told by its own people.
