Wara Buland Khan is a village in District Chakwal, on the Potohar plateau of Punjab, Pakistan. In Urdu, "wara" means ranch, and the place took its name from Buland Khan, who first settled it after coming from North Punjab with his flock of sheep. Locals came to call it Wara Buland Khan, the ranch of Buland Khan.

The land is dry and ravined, and farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range to the south. Dandot is about 4 km away, and the Katas Raj temples about 13 km. Many families have members in the army or working abroad. The village has a Jamia Mosque at its centre and a government primary school for boys and girls. The recent census counted 1,368 people.
