Ganganwala (also spelt Gangainwala) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it lies about 31 km from Islamabad airport, 43 km from Chakwal city and Dhudial, and 44 km from Rawalpindi.
The wider Potohar plateau is dry land cut by ravines. Farming there has long depended on rain, with wheat and groundnut grown on its fields, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many families across the plateau have members serving in the army or working abroad.
