Gogra, also spelt Ghogra or Ghograh, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it is about 21 km from Rawalpindi, 25 km from Islamabad airport, 50 km from Dhudial and 56 km from Chakwal city.
The wider land here is the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined country where farming depends on rain, with wheat and groundnut as the main crops, and the Salt Range rising to the south. Many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
