This is Khahera.

Khahera is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farmers grow wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.

Khahera is about 38 km in a straight line from the Malot temple and from Dandot in the Salt Range, about 39 km from Choa Saidan Shah, and about 42 km from the Katas Raj temples. Many families on the Potohar have members serving in the army or working abroad.

The fuller story of Khahera, its people and its days, is still to be told, and its own families are the ones to tell it.
