Kuunra (also spelt Kochra or Kuchra) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 27 km away, Talagang is 30 km, and the Katas Raj temples are 47 km. Across this part of the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
