Mona is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 8 km in a straight line from Dhudial and about 16 km from Chakwal city. The Katas Raj temples and Choa Saidan Shah are each about 35 km away.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, where wheat and groundnut are farmed and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
