Mughal is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is 28 km from Dhudial, 34 km from Chakwal city, 41 km from the Islamabad airport and 43 km from Rawalpindi.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land cut by ravines, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming here depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are grown across the plateau. Many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Mughal, its people and its history is still to be told by the villagers themselves. This page is an invitation to add it.
