This is Shah Dargahi.
Shah Dargahi, also spelt Shāh Dargāhi, is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range to the south.
From here, Rawalpindi is about 22 km away in a straight line, Islamabad airport about 34 km, Dhudial about 57 km and Chakwal city about 64 km. As in much of this part of Punjab, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Shah Dargahi, its families and its history is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
