Tajabara is a village in District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it is about 22 km from Islamabad airport, 40 km from Rawalpindi, and 66 km from both Chakwal city and Talagang.
The land around it belongs to the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground where farmers grow wheat and groundnuts on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. Many families here have sons and daughters serving in the army or working abroad.
