Warala is a village in District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravined ground where farmers grow wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south.
The village is a short distance from several well-known places. The Katas Raj temples and Dandot in the Salt Range are each about 8 km away in a straight line, and Choa Saidan Shah and the Malot temple are about 10 km away. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
