This is Bharpur.
Bharpur is a village and union council in Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies in Tehsil Kallar Kahar, about 28 km from Chakwal city and 16 km from Talagang. It is about 15 km from the Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain. Families here grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across this area, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Bharpur is still to be told, and it belongs to its people. If you remember its fields, its roads, or its people, please add your words here.
