This is Dhok Waras.
Dhok Waras is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, where wheat and groundnut are farmed and the Salt Range rises to the south.
Dhok Waras is about 14 km in a straight line from Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway. Talagang lies about 18 km away and Chakwal city about 26 km.
The village's own story, its families and its everyday life, is still to be told by the people who live here and by those who have gone abroad. This page is an invitation to add it.
