This is Chak Four.

Welcome to Chak Four, also spelt Naubahar or Naubhar, a chak in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. A chak is a settlement that grew up in the canal era, and this one belongs to the many such villages across the district.

In a straight line, Chak Four is about 37 km from Dandot in the Salt Range, 39 km from the Malot temple, 40 km from Choa Saidan Shah, and 43 km from the Katas Raj temples.

The wider Potohar plateau is dry, ravined land where wheat and groundnut are grown on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. As in many families across this region, some of the households here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Chak Four, its founding and its people, is still to be told by the villagers themselves.
