Daiyan is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Farming across the plateau includes wheat and groundnut.
The village is well placed for travel. Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 11 km away in a straight line, the Katas Raj temples are about 30 km off, and Talagang is about 32 km. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
