The hamlet is about 20 km from Chakwal city and 22 km from Talagang. In a straight line it is 23 km from Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway. Like many families across the plateau, many here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
