This is Karoli.

Karoli is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also spelt Karuli or Kāruli.

The village lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines and farming depends on rain. Families here grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Across this part of Punjab, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.

Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 13 km away in a straight line, the Katas Raj temples about 17 km, and Dandot in the Salt Range about 19 km. The story of Karoli itself, in the words of its own people, is still to be told.
