چھوئی، جسے چوٹی بھی لکھا جاتا ہے، پاکستان کے صوبہ پنجاب کے ضلع چکوال کا ایک گاؤں ہے۔ یہ پوٹھوہار کے سطح مرتفع پر واقع ہے، جہاں خشک ندی نالے اور بارش پر انحصار کرنے والے کھیت ہیں، اور جنوب میں نمک کی پہاڑیاں (سالٹ رینج) پھیلی ہوئی ہیں۔
This is Chhoi.
Chhoi, also spelt Choti, is a village in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Farming across the plateau depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are grown here.
Chhoi is a short drive from several known places. Kallar Kahar lake is about 11 km away in a straight line, the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway about 12 km, the Katas Raj temples about 15 km, and Choa Saidan Shah about 18 km.
Like many families on the plateau, many households in and around Chhoi have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of this village, its people and its homes is still to be told by the people who live in it, and this page is an invitation to tell it.
