In a straight line, Dhudial is about 45 km away, Chakwal city about 55 km, Choa Saidan Shah about 58 km, and the Katas Raj temples about 60 km.
Farming on the Potohar is mainly wheat and groundnut, grown on rain-fed land. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and those who have gone far from Rajwal carry its name with them.
