Vasnal (also spelt Wasnal) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, on the Potohar plateau. It lies about 16 km from Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, 27 km from Talagang and 37 km from Chakwal city. The village sits at an elevation of 868 metres.

The village takes its name from the saint Baba Wassan, who established a permanent settlement here. The climate is subtropical and sub-humid, a little cooler than central Punjab because of its height, with hot to moderate summers and severe winters. Monsoon rains fall from mid-July to mid-September, and winter rains from January to early March.

A small forest to the north of the village is home to many plant and animal species. Trees such as Phulai, Kahu and Keekar grow here. Many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Vasnal is still to be told by its own people.
