This is Chamiali.
Welcome to Chamiali, a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
Chamiali is about 8 km in a straight line from the Kallar Kahar lake and from the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar. It is 28 km from Talagang and 30 km from Chakwal city.
Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Chamiali, its families and its days is still to be told, and it is for its own people to tell it. We invite you to share your memories here.
