This is Dhok Datewali.
Dhok Datewali is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Talagang is 22 km away, Lawa 29 km, and both the Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar are 42 km away in a straight line.
Across the plateau, wheat and groundnut are grown, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own story, its families and its memories, is still to be told by its people, and this page is a place for them to share it.
